001: Physical Access Tokens (PATs) Redemption Event
On an undisclosed date after the Mint event, Physical Access Token (PAT) redemptions will start. When the redemption launch date is announced, DEPARTMNT Access Token holders will be notified that the redemption is open. For a set period, holders will have the option to either redeem this physical counterpart or leave the asset unredeemed to remain in its digital form.
The redeemable window for 001’s physical asset is exactly 1 year after the redemption event has taken place. After this time, users who have chosen not to redeem will unlock a new opportunity within the DEPARTMNT experience. Hints may be provided that observant participants could discover and utilise to their advantage.
Holders will be able to manage their assets via the DEPARTMNT dashboard, where they will be able to perform certain tasks based on their decisions during the experience of the redemption. For example, when a holder is presented with the choice to redeem the Access Token for a physical asset they could stake the digital asset as unredeemed in the DEPARTMNT Vault to take a separate pathway of experience. Alternatively, they could redeem the asset and use the physical asset, to unlock further experiences. The choice is solely up to the individual.
