MINT 001: Blockchain
DEPARTMNT is a blockchain-agnostic brand. We imagine and want to shape a world where communities can experience their assets on different platforms and in different environments. We believe that freedom of choice and interoperability of our Access Token are the key principles of what makes Web3 so special. We anticipate that we will use different technologies to achieve different outcomes and meet our communities' needs.
We are using the Ethereum ecosystem for our MINT 001. All of our digital assets are created and uploaded to IPFS storage and secured by the Ethereum blockchain. Only allowed users can mint tokens. That means that there is a granting procedure that verifies a digital asset creator candidate and grants permission to create digital assets.
