DEPARTMNT Rewards
The DEPARTMNT experience is underpinned by two things: your investment into our ecosystem of Access Tokens and your participation in the community.
Both of these actions are rewarded by a tokenised system that can enable further access to tokens or experiences. These experiences or tokens can be delivered to you as new Access Tokens that might take the form of a redeemable product or a digital asset to be used as a ticket to your experience - they also may be a single-use or multi-use item.
DEPARTMNT issues rewards in the form of Privileges and Tokens of Appreciation. TOAs and PRIVs are delivered to you in Access Token form and they can be traded, sold or held until they are ‘upgraded’.
‘Privileges’ (PRIVs): are Access Tokens earned through participation, collaboration or some other means of interaction - but most typically are earned from the staking of Access Tokens.
PRIVs are issued directly to the wallets of holders who have earned them through their interactions and participation in the DEPARTMNT experience.
PRIVs dependent on their sum have varied levels of benefits. They may enable you to access different experiences where you can gain further value based on the level of participation in those experiences, but most typically they can be traded at the DEPARTMNT store for other goods.
Utility: Privileges may give you access to IRL and digital world experiences and can be traded for products* (*events different from TOAs).
“‘Tokens of appreciation’ (TOAs): are Access Tokens that are usually found or won or are simply a gift from DEPARTMNT to you. A token of our appreciation.
These may be received by being contacted by DEPARTMNT directly or issued directly to wallets of holders to whom DEPARTMNT are gifting through sheer admiration or by the action of your interaction.
TOAs have varied levels of benefits; specific TOAs may be traded for specifically connected items at the DEPARTMNT store. These items may be products or access to experiences.
Utility: Tokens of Appreciation may give you access to IRL and digital world experiences and products* (*events different from PRIVs).
