The Vault Manager

The DEPARTMNT vault is managed by DEPARTMNT, who assumes the role of Vault Manager.

The Vault Manager is charged with the task of minting and issuing privileges (PRIVs) to holders of staked Access Tokens.

DEPARTMNT will issue ‘privileges’ (PRIVs) in exchange for holders staking their assets for set periods in the vault. The higher quantity of assets staked will affect the quantity and/or quality of these earned privileges.

The Access Token will also accrue 'points' from being staked in the vault. This is calculated by a multiple X (times) the quantity of time it is staked in the vault.

Note: TOAs are gifted to holders, and not earned from the Vault.

The Vault Manager also has the additional task of managing the community and feedback for the direction of the DEPARTMNT Experience and the development of DEPARTMNT Access Tokens. Community participation and Access Token development are one of the core fundamentals of the DEPARTMNT Experience.
