Experiences: Time and Space

Moments in time and space make for an extraordinary experience.

As mentioned previously, events can be time sensitive: some can be permanent, some can be brief, and some are just a moment in space and time. It's important to understand that the DEPARTMNT experience can be almost anything you imagine it to be.

It is also important to note that experiences are not without their limitations, just like anything in life. Some of these limitations of experiences are described below:

• Experiences and events may be location sensitive: certain physical events will be location specific by regions or cities around the world, meaning the obvious fact that to access an event you may have to travel to get there. Where possible, DEPARTMNT will aim to provide access through a digital counterpart.

• In addition to experiences and events being location-based, they may also be temporal. All DEPARTMNT Access Tokens that are physically redeemable will also be perishable: there will be an expiry date thereafter, where unredeemed Access Tokens will no longer be claimable physically. The length of time from redemption day to the expiry date varies by the nature of the Access Token:

  • The physical asset for 001's perishable date is exactly 1 year after the redemption event (TBC).

  • After this time, all users with unredeemed Access Tokens will unlock a new choice.
