Team Introduction

Like a lot of Web3 enthusiasts, DEPARTMNT is formed from a group of misfits and degenerates who share a communal sense of realising many of us are a bit different.

Possibly, because we’ve all observed others being OK with the way things are, we were not OK with the way things are. There has to be a better way…

We questioned more than others do, as we are the types of individuals who go deep into a perfectionist tangle of not wanting to settle for less. This has made each of us a little restless and we’ve had enough., We demand better. We will do better. But we want to be more than do-ers, we want to be ‘shapers’.

Our backgrounds vary; we’re a bunch of people who have existed in this game of life in different ways, but are unified because we all know what it’s like to create our path. The paths each of us took in life led us down routes acquiring different skills, in different disciplines, but we share a common objective; a common revulsion; and a common sense of belonging to a group unified by a wish to remain in the sub-culture, apart from the mainstream. To break the norm, to create the future.

We know there are more of you out there - those of you who think differently and won’t settle for anything less. Who strive for a better way. We seek those of you ‘outliers’, ‘misfits’, or ‘degenerates’ who, like us - can join the DEPARTMNT to shape things into a more delightful way of living.

We want you to not just join us, but to lead with us, in achieving not only our mission but together generating the DEPARTMNT Experience.
